Welcome Taj Burrow

18 years on tour. 12 CT wins. Hall of Famer. Taj Burrow needs no introduction, for most people who grew up watching surfing, he was simply their favourite surfer. Having spent a career obsessing over equipment as much as the surfing itself, we're honoured to now be shaping his next chapter of boards.

It was the Taj Stab in the Dark series in 2021 that I first shaped him a 5’7 ½ round tail that mysteriously was ejected without much word, but I got a phone call afterwards to order another batch and to tell me that the board felt insane and he needed a few more. I shaped him up a 5’9 x 18 ¾ x 2 ⅜ 26.5L round tail and from the first surf it felt like something clicked again.

After riding it the whole time during the Ethan Ewing SITD he ordered another batch and it was sick to get this voice note after his first surf:
“I got on the round tail for the first time today and it just felt incredible mate... It just ticked all the boxes, it felt insane and I just had the funnest surf on it.” “I haven’t been this excited about a board in a long time. It was just off its head mate, absolutely loved it.”
