“The engineers at Futures design performance fins for performance surfing which is why I prefer their system and fins in my Haydenshapes boards.” - Hayden Cox

HAYDENSHAPES SIGNATURE FUTURES TRI FIN

The next level in speed generating fins is here with the all new Generation Series. These fins will provide all the speed you need while maintaining an element of control. Sitting one notch below the Blackstix on our Ride Number scale, all Generation Series fins hold Ride Numbers between 9 to 7, for those of you looking for a bit more stability & drive than Blackstix.

The Haydenshapes Rear Quad is a fin designed to five the speed of a quad fin, whilst maintaining turn in the pocket. The fin has a scimitar twist with 3 deg of splay in the base and 6 deg in the tip, which is designed to give drive down the line from the base and release and speed through turns from the tip. The fin design suits a centrally placed quad setup which has the speed of a quad and turn of a tri fin setup.

HAYDENSHAPES FUTURES FULL FIBERGLASS FINS

HS Fiberglass is ideal for controlling speed in powerful waves, while the fiberglass material provides durability in reef breaks. The HS Template is balanced, allowing the fin to perform in a variety of conditions.

BASE 4.45” (11.30cm)
AREA 14.54” (36.70cm)
WEIGHT 145-195lb 65-88kg
Materials
Fiberglass is stiff and tough for heavy conditions or surfers that appreciate very stiff fins.
Flat Foil
Flat foiled fins break free sooner, and are better at controlling speed. Often surfers prefer them in fast powerful surf where they do not need to create additional speed. If you have muscle memory from riding glass-ons, flat foiled fins will feel the closest.
